Worry Woo Monsters is a series written by Andi Green and was first seen in a New York City Art exhibition in 2001. My daughter and I had the pleasure of meeting Squeek, the Monster of Innocence. He is a shy looking monster pink as cotton candy, who lives in a bubble. All snuggled up within her arms, Squeek felt warm and cozy all night long. The book “The Monster In The Bubble,” is hand beautifully illustrated with pen, ink and watercolor. It is about Squeek, a shy little monster who is afraid to try new things. He stays in his bubble dreaming of all the things he could do if he just tried. However, the bubble decides to take that leap for him and takes Squeek on an exciting adventure. There are several other Worry Woo Monsters and books such as Rue, Nola, Fuddle, Twitch and Wince. Worry Woo is also the recipient of the Kidltuions Preferred Product Award. The award “specifically recognizes products and services that enhance the social and emotional learning and development of infants, young children, elementary-aged children and ‘tweens. We also recognize products that contribute prenatally to social and emotional development.” This would definitely make any child Happy on Christmas Day! Available at the Worry Woo store and other online/retail stores The Worry Woo sets are valued at $36.00.
