I hope you all had great spring break. We went down to the beach, and it was just awesome. Now that we are back, I am ready to show you another crafty project. The flowers are starting to bloom, and it seems like everyone is outside making their yards beautiful. So why not add a little color to your yard by painting some pretty flower pots. What could be better than to paint some lovely flower pots and place your favorite flowers in them. Sophia wanted to plant something so I decided to pick up some inexpensive clay flower pots to paint them anyway we want.
This is what you will need:
- Clay Flower pots (any size you desire)
- Paint
- Brushes
- Plant
Now, get your paint and brushes and start to paint each pot in any design you like. My little artist couldn’t wait, and was way ahead of me. She started to paint the entire flower pot in a flash, and I made my own butterfly, flower, polka dot design. Then we set them aside to dry.
After they were dry, we went outside and placed our flowers in both of the flower pots. Voila! They look very beautiful and with the sunlight shining on the pots, the colors radiate even more. Sophia was so happy with her new Pretty Painted Flower Pots. She said she will water them every day, so they can grow just like her! LOL. Now, get yourself some flower pots and have the kids paint them with you, and have fun. This would definitely make a nice project all year around. Enjoy!
Sincerely,

What a beautiful fun crafty project just in time for the beautiful Spring weather and buding flowers.
She looks like she is having so much fun.
Blessings
these are so pretty! I can’t wait until my daughter is old enough to do crafts like this 🙂 We actually did spend the day working in the flower beds and planting flowers. I might do your little craft project myself and make a pretty pot for a flower to put on my outside table!
What a great idea! We are going to add this to our Spring Break agenda. Hopefully we make it out of the craft stores without spending a fortune.
Great craft idea for spring!
Those are so cute!!!
Those are so cute! And can you imagine it? I actually have done this before and it was so fun and easy! And with Mother’s Day right around the corner these would make perfect gifts!
They came out so cute! We painted pots for my daughter’s first birthday party and I am excited to do it again with her when she’s old enough!
How cute! Definitely a good activity for the kids.
Very pretty!! You have quite the little artist! She’s beautiful like her Mommy! 🙂
What a great idea for mother’s day or year end teacher gifts!
I love these!! I am a teacher by day and I have my students use their fingerprints to create insects on a painted pot. Then they sign their name in a permanent type marker next to their bug. We give them to our classroom helpers/parents/volunteers at the end of the year. They will never forget us. 🙂
Too cute! now following!
