Holiday Gift Guide: NogginStik Developmental Light-up Rattle

December 21, 2012

Most of you know that I was pregnant several months ago and now, I have a very curious, crawling 8 month old little boy.  It sure goes by really fast,  and believe me he is really active so I am always finding items that will enhance and keep him active. Now whenever I found a cool new product that I pretty much like, I love to share it with my readers. I was giving the opportunity to review the NogginStik Developmental Light-up Rattle from SmartNoggin, so I decided to test it out on my 8 month old.

Here is a little bit about the NogginStik Developmental Light- up Rattle: It isn’t just a cute toy. It’s an educational tool that will guide you through activities and interactions that will promote healthy brain development and bonding, and bring enjoyment to both you and your child.

What I like about the Nogginstik  is that its head lights up in various colors such as red, blue and green.  This basically helps your little one’s eyes move and to follow objects. The changing colors stimulates their eyes.  It also has a handle for those little hands to hold on very easily. Nogginstik is great for children from birth to 3 years of age.

My little William sure loves his Nogginstik, especially when the head changes colors. It always makes him giggle.  My daughter Sophia loves to move the Nogginstik away from him, so he can crawl toward it.  This encourages him to crawl and his reward is to hold on to the rattle.  He loves to shake the rattle a lot and he sure love the bottom of the base because there is a mirror on it.  This is definitely not just a toy, but a learning rattle too. I personally think everyone with a child should at least have one. It retails for $19.99.

This would definitely make a great Holiday Gift for that special little child or mommy to be.

Now, go visit SmartNoggin and see if you would like to make this a Holiday Gift to someone special.

Happy Holidays,
