HERO
Dads are a Superpower Coming to DVD September 16th
Movie night in our home is definitely one of my favorite times that our family sits down on a Saturday night and watches a nice movie. We make it look like we are at the cinema and get our popcorn ready, drinks at hand, dim the lights and it is family movie night. The movie that we watched is a movie that touched my heart so deeply called “HERO“.
Here is a brief introductory about the movie HERO: From producers of Alone Yet Not Alone, comes a heartfelt movie about legendary small town baseball coach, Joe Finn (Burgess Jenkins, Remember the Titans, Nashville, The Shunning), who after taking his shot as a scout for the big leagues returns home to discover the damage he’s done by leaving his family behind. Now on a quest to rebuild his relationship with his son David, Joe forms a new baseball league to reinvigorate the underdog little league team his son had been coaching. Together, as father and son, they try to put away their differences and help bring their ragtag team of ball players, “The Gappers”, to victory.
The movie is a great family movie and it will touch everyone’s heart a little. Sports is definitely a great method to use to make that special bond with father and son. I look at my son when I play soccer with him and believe me, he enjoys it a lot. However, the moment when his father comes home, he screams so loud to go outside so his Daddy can kick the ball really high. Then he tries to kick just like daddy. I love to play soccer with my son, but mommy cannot kick as high as daddy. The movie is teaching us that, it is nice to be there for your child and to support them and see how they grow up. Just being there and sharing every moment with them means more to them than anything. I definitely give this movie two thumbs up and would recommend this to anyone to watch, you will be amazed. The movie will be available in stores on Tuesday September 16th.

I think this would be the perfect male bonding movie for my husband and son to watch together. We recently saw the previews and my husband said he would really like to watch it with our son!
