Here is another favorite book of mine that I think you would like as well. The Central Park Tales written and illustrated by Marcus Meesters. It is a delightful children’s book about the adventures of the animals that live in Central Park. Looking at the beautifully illustrated front cover of the book, makes me quite curious as to what the little mouse is thinking about. It intrigues me a lot to know what interesting adventures will be inside the book.
All the illustrations are so well drawn and very realistic. It makes you really feel like your actually at the park. The author clearly tells an adventurous story of the animals who resides in Central Park. The book is filled with 10 short stories and 60 color illustrations for young readers to adults. Some of the animals that take place in the stories are Duck, Frog, Squirrel, Mousekin, Doctor Beggar and more. They explore a wonderful world full of a lush green oasis. It retails for $22.25.
