This book called Chickadees, Bumbelbeez, Pussy-Willow Trees and Two-And-A-Half by Jeffrey M. Politsky is a fun, adventurous book. Both my kids love to read, but my three year old son loves to look at pictures while I read to him. So, this book was fantastic because it had fun pictures to keep him interested.
Chickadees, Bumbelbeez, Pussy-Willow Trees and Two-And-A-Half, is about a spunky brown monkey who was curious about seeing the world and what’s beyond from being just a monkey. He wanted to meet other animals, different creatures and was quite curious to experience life. The monkey ended up meeting various animals such as a cat and pelican. Soon they developed a friendship where these they set out on a journey to travel, explore a foreign island, and ended up meeting a dog which they also befriended.
The book teaches the young ones to learn how to become independent by exploring different places, making new friends, and learning how to explore, appreciate, respect other cultures, languages and most of all diversity. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone. This will make a great holiday gift for that special little one in your life. It isintended for readers between the ages of 4 to 9 years of age.
