It has been an exciting weekend and lots of fun indeed. I was so glad that my daughter didn’t have school on Good Friday and she will also be off on Monday. Which means, she has a long weekend to rest and enjoy her time off before the STAAR test starts on Tuesday. This means to go bed early, get a good night rest, eat a healthy breakfast and off to school to take the test which takes approximately 4 hours. I know she will do great since she is a good student.
Anyway, we had a great Easter Sunday, I hope you all did as well. The Easter Bunny showed up at our home and the kids were very excited.
The entire backyard was filled with lots of colorful small and big eggs for the kids to put in their baskets. My husband and I couldn’t wait to see their faces full of excitement and eagerness. So, it was time to get my camera ready.
In order to capture the fun easter egg hunt, I stood ahead in the backyard and snapped a few pictures of the two kids running through the yard grabbing eggs from left to right and placing them in their baskets. My son was trying to open the eggs right there instead of placing them in his basket. My daughter is bigger and was helping her littler brother by placing some in his basket. She sure is a fantastic sister.
After they were all done, it was time to open the eggs, oh my they were really happy with all the fun surprises in the eggs. My son kept on eating marshmallows so it was time to put them up. All in all, we all had a fantastic Easter Sunday and I hope you all had the same fun time as we did.
