I happened to receive some wonderful educational back to school goodies from American Girl. Reading in my home is a number one priority and when I received these amazing American Girl books, I was extremely satisfied. These books are categorized as advice/activity books and are called the Smart Girl’s Guide. I currently have a child in middle-school, and there are times that they don’t want to hear or listen to anyone but themselves, so these books provides them with the necessary tools to guide them in the right direction. The books explain things to kids so easy by providing them with basic examples.

A Smart Girl’s Guide: Knowing What to Say– This book teaches girls what to say at the right time. Whether you have a child that is shy or outspoken, they will learn how to use appropriate words when facing awkward moments at times.
A Smart Girl’s Guide: Sports & Fitness- Another book that gives advice on how to be a team player and teaches girls to be confident. They will learn various exercise techniques to be stronger and healthier.
A Smart Girl’s Guide: Digital World- I was really glad to receive this book. I believe every parent should get this for their child. In this digital world where everything is just a click away, kids are using their digital devices for just about anything from listening to music, playing games, researching assignments for school, reading a story, making a video, posting pictures and more. This is all fun for them, but it can be unsafe. This book teaches them how to navigate all these interesting places wisely so they can keep themselves safe, and the book also addresses how to deal with cyber bulling issues.

That Not to forget the Science Fair Set would be ideal to encourage STEM for our daughters. I love incorporating learning with play.
