I remembered when I was pregnant with my little Sophia, I always sat in the pink rocking chair holding a book in my hand and started to read to her each and every night. The minute I felt that first kick, I knew deep inside my heart that she would love to read books. That is why I still read a book to Sophia each night before bedtime with some classical music afterwards to calm her down. A good way to make her feel at ease.
I was extremely excited, when I was given the opportunity to review both The Shushybye Close Your Eyes Book and the Shushybye Goodnight Deluxe Edition CD. Sophia loves reading and listening to music, so I was quite anxious to see her reaction. After a nice warm bath, we went to her room and sat on her bed with her stuffed animals surrounding her and I started to read the Shushybye Close Your Eyes book. While reading the book, Sophia was quite fascinated with the colorful pictures and paid attention on each story page. The book has a beautiful hardcover and it also glows in the dark. Not only is it fun and enjoyable to read, it also had an audio cd available. He/she can sit and listen to the book being read to them on CD. Great for each toddler or pre-schooler to read before bedtime. Sophia truly enjoyed this book.

There are times when Sophia does not want to go sleep, so we always have an alternative method, which is going for a car ride. Immediately there was silence in the car and it surely calmed her down. She started to hum to the melody and soon after Sophia was in Shushybye World. She fell fast asleep and we went back home. Just a great way to put a little one to sleep.
