Dinosaur Train’s Halloween Costume Review

Well were not done yet showcasing all the wonderful Halloween costumes out there. Here is Buddy, the T-Rex, who is the main character on the hit PBS Kids TV show, Dinosaur Train. Dinosaur Train is a top-rated, award-winning series on PBS Kids. It encourages basic scientific thinking skills as you learn about science, natural history and paleontology. Dinosaur Train, stars Buddy a toddler Tyrannosaurus Rex who goes on learning adventures onboard the Dinosaur Train

As you can see the costume is an orange colored jumpsuit, that comes with a dinosaur hood, shoe covers and an attached tail. It is made of soft fabric to make your child feel comfortable.  The costume is available for toddlers ages 3-4, and children between the ages of 4-6, retails for $39.99 and can be found at Spencer’s Gifts and other independent and regional retailers. The minute Sophia saw this costume she was amazed and had to try it on. Then she began to growl and roar like a dinosaur. It was so funny. The hood, tail and overall jumpsuit transformed her into a real dinosaur. She said she was ready to go Trick-or-Treating, now.

If you are feeling adventurous and creative, Jim Henson’s Creature Shop gives you patterns where you can make your own Buddy costume at home. How neat is that.

Dinosaur Train also has Buddy’s friend, Tiny, a Pteranodon in a colorful green jumpsuit.  Now, have a wonderful time Trick-or-Treating and Happy Halloween!
