I absolutely love wearing jewelry. However, since I have a little boy who likes to put his hands on everything it is hard to wear those lovely glittery jewelry pieces because he tends to hold on to them very tightly and occasionally bites on them. As much as I love jewelry, I just don’t want him to swallow one of the pieces. So lately, I have had to refrain from wearing those lovely accessories. But what I am about to tell all you mamas will definitely make you want to have one of these necklaces immediately.  I had the opportunity to review some adorable jewelry pieces called “Chewbeads”. I must say, at first I didn’t know what they were, however I wanted to know more.  So I accepted the offer and here they are.

Chewbeads are a collection of non-toxic jewelry by the creator Lisa Greenwald, for moms with babies.  I love the fact that their colors of jewelry are so lovely, elegant and above all safe for the little ones.  Here is a little bit about the Chewbeads:

    •            Beads are made with 100% silicone
    •            Soft on babies gums and emerging teeth
    •            Easily cleaned with dish soap & water, also dishwasher safe!
    •            No BPA, PVC, Phthalates, Cadmium, or Lead
    •            Necklaces have a breakaway clasp for added safety
    •            Necklaces are a great sensory tool to help your baby focus while nursing
    •            Bracelets are a colorful reminder of which side you’ve just nursed

It is double knotted to keep the beads tightly together and preventing them from coming apart.  I love the various colors that will go with any outfit you have on hand. Your little one can nibble, touch, grab them as much as possible; and you don’t have to worry about breaking your necklace.  At the moment I love the  Jane Necklace – Punchy Pink, which is just adorable.

It can be adjusted to fit any wrist size.  The bracelet comes with a lovely ribbon which can be shortened by simply cutting and re-tying the ends. Simple isn’t it. We all can do that. When I was putting it on my little William kept on playing with the beads and twisting them back and forth. Even my daughter who is 7 years old was trying to put it on as well.  Chewbeads also have Juniorbeads which are intended for children 3 and up, also made from 100% silicone.

Go and visit Chewbeads and see some of their other products.  You can also connect with Chewbeads via twitter and Facebook.  Make sure you follow them and if you like you can always sign up for their newsletter.

Happy Holidays!

Sincerely,

They have some very pretty designs. I’ve seen other chew bead necklaces but the beads aren’t as pretty. Thanks for introducing me to this company!
