Each day that I pick up my daughter from school I always have  to wait in the car line. So I decided that today I am going to watch the new family Christmas movie “Angels Sing”.  Since the weather is quite cold today, I thought wow, this is really perfect. I wish I had some hot chocolate or popcorn in the car, that would of made it even better.  I must say that I was quite excited to watch the movie and couldn’t wait for it to start.

Here is a little bit about the Angels Sing movie:

Harry Connick, Jr. stars as Michael Walker, who, as a child, wished every day was Christmas. That is, until a tragic accident crushed his holiday spirit. Thirty years later, Michael still can’t muster any joy for Christmas, despite encouragement from his playful wife (Connie Britton) and well intentioned parents (Kris Kristofferson and Fionnula Flanagan). But when his young son (Chandler Canterbury) faces a tragedy, Michael needs to make amends with his past. A mysterious man named Nick (Willie Nelson) gives Michael a gift that instills in him the courage to find the Christmas joy that he lost.

After I finished watching the movie, I felt it sure can be difficult to go through some tough family tragedies. However having a strong family, love and support can help someone over come all of misery.  The movie gave me so much inspiration. This is a great family movie to watch during the Holidays and it will make a great stocking stuffer gift as well.  The Christmas lights were amazing and we have the same tradition at our house. We go in our car, and drive around neighborhoods to see all of the beautifully decorated homes with Christmas lights.  It sure makes everyone happy!

Go and visit Angels Sings website for more information.

Happy Holidays!

This sounds like the perfect movie for this holiday season. I really enjoy watching inspirational movies all year long, but they especially make me happy and usually a little teary eyes, this time of year. Thank you for the review! I hadn’t heard of this movie and am going to look it up to watch with my family.
