Holiday Gift Guide: Lidum

I came across this product that I thought was interesting and wanted to know a little bit more about it.  It is called Lidum 4%  Numbing Cream by Bio-Scriptives.

Here is a little bit about  Lidium 4%: is a highly effective local anesthetic cream for the immediate relief of pain and itching caused by minor burns, minor skin irritations, scrapes, minor cuts, sunburn, insect bites and hair removal.

Now, I had to put this product to the test. As I was washing dishes I did not realize I turned on the hot water instead of the cold water. You can image for yourself what happened next.  Yes, I placed my hand underneath the faucet and believe me, there was a loud scream in the house. It sure did burn me.  As always, I wasn’t thinking immediately about Lidium, so I ended up putting toothpaste on the burn (one of my mother’s little technique for burns).  It helped a little but not so much.  So as I was sitting there, I remembered that I had to test out the Lidium 4%, so I immediately rubbed a little on my hand.  Within seconds I could feel some relief from the pain and it felt so comfortable.  Whether you have a pain by falling or from having minor cuts, apply this product and you will have some pain relief instantly.  It is a powerful anesthetic that helps temporarily block pain by numbing the pathway of pain signals along the nerves.  What is really nice, you don’t need a prescription for it in order to have some comfort.

It comes in a 2 oz. tube (priced for $40) or a box of 15 individual use containers (priced for $50).  I definitely will keep the Lidium 4% everywhere I go and I recommend it to anyone who needs some kind of pain relief.  You can visit BioScriptives and see more of their products and you can also connect with them via facebook and twitter.

Happy Holidays!

Huh, how handy! I’ve never heard of this cream before, either, but I can really see how this would come in handy for when you do have a burn or bad bug bite. Very neat, thank you!
