photo 1Are you looking for a great gift for your little ones on Easter that will surely spark great memories.  Well then keep reading because I have the perfect Easter Gift for the young ones. It is a book called Lollipop Seeds That Sprout for Kind Deeds, by Cherri Prince.  The moment I saw the book I was really excited to tell you all about it.  I always teach my children how important it is to help others  by just doing something nice.  It can really make that person feel very happy. The book is all about Easter and  encourages children to do kind deeds in a joyous and friendly way.

Here is some more information about the book: According to legend, the tradition of Lollipop Seeds goes back hundreds of years. Prior to Easter, children are encouraged to do something special for someone they love, from sharing a snack to washing the dishes. On the night before Easter, they toss the seeds, brought by the Easter Bunny, in the grass, make a wish for someone special, then place a marker by the seeds. When they wake on Easter morning, Lollipops will have sprouted, not by water or sun, but by kindness instead.

photo 2As I said before, when the book arrived my daughter and son just ripped the package open and started to look at it. The first thing my daughter said was how much she adores the colorful pictures on the hardcover.  The book has 32 beautifully illustrated pages and the bright colors will keep every child interested.  My daughter read the story to her little brother and that put a big smile on my face.  The book is about an adorable Easter Bunny who learns about the Lollipop Seed from his grand mom.  My daughter immediately asked what she can help me with and I said you can help with the garden. After that, she wanted to make some handmade Easter cards for her friends at school.  I was truly happy for her. I like how this book teaches children how to do good deeds and just to be nice to someone. The kids get to plant a Lollipop Seed when they do a good deed and on Easter morning the Lollipops sprout!

The book came with the following items:

  • 2 packets of lollipop seeds (to plant with your little ones)
  • 2 markers (this way you know where to place your lollipops the next morning)

Lollipops are not included but this way you can go and get various flavors from the store, maybe the kind that your children like.  At the end of the book you will see a page where your family can write down what kind of good deeds they have done for the year.  We can’t wait to plant our seeds very very soon!   I know my little ones are way too excited about it.
