Holiday Gift Guide: Reindeer Dust

December 2, 2015

My kids can never have too many books to read, and one of them I like is Reindeer Dust by Kate Dwyer.  The moment I received the book I was just staring at the front cover.  It literally caught my eye as to how pretty, lovely, and warm the illustration made me feel. I was quite excited to see how the inside would look.  I thought to myself this could be another magical holiday book for the family to read.  Reindeer Dust is an interactive picture book that engages the imagination through family participation. The book tells the classic tale of how the Reindeer Dust tradition first began.

Fortunately, a boy decided to come up with a brilliant plan to create some reindeer dust.  With the help of friends and family they sprinkled it outside and the reindeer were able to see the dust, and Santa could deliver his wonderful presents.

The colors are bright and give you that happy feeling inside. At the end of the book you will get a recipe of how to make the Reindeer Dust too.  Isn’t this fantastic!  This is must have book to add to your collection of holiday books.

Go and visit the Reindeer Dust website to find out more information about the book.  It is available at amazon as well.  You can also connect with them via twitter and facebook.

Enjoy and Happy Holidays!

This book is really adorable! If the recipe of the dust is in it, my little one will sure go nuts. She likes to whip up just about anything. Loves to cook and playing house.

This looks interesting. Is there a way you can see a sample of the inside of the book?

It sure looks like a great book to read on X-mas eve or day. I think if you google or go to their site you might see a sample of the inside or amazon usually has a preview of books to see before you purchase them.
