Valentine’s Day is exactly one week away and I am really excited! Don’t get me wrong, I love to get dolled up for a special occasions. However, during the day I like my outfits to be casual and comfortable. So let’s be honest, not everyone dresses up for Valentine’s Day. Speaking from my own experience of always running errands, volunteering at my child’s Valentine’s day party, or sitting in the car line for an hour, a casual and comfortable outfit is exactly what I need.
I am a big fan of sweaters because you can dress them up for a chic look or you can wear them for a more casual look. This lightweight Color Block Sleeve Sweater from Ann Taylor has blush and red seasonal hues on the bottom part of the sleeves. For a size reference I am wearing extra small. I paired the sweater with some ripped jeans from Gap and some cute candy hearts socks. So there you have it. A simple, casual and comfortable Valentine’s Day look.
I had a blast taking these pictures and had quite a bit of laughs. Whenever my husband is taking the pictures he tends to say some really funny things to bring out the best in me, and you can definitely see that from the pictures. I always have a big smile on my face. I hope you like this look so it will give you an idea of what to wear on Valentine’s Day.
