Holiday Gift Guide: Green Frog Dish Set -CLOSED

November 7, 2010

Are you in the market for some stainless steel dishes for your little ones?  Then, let me tell you about the Green Frog 3 piece Dish set by Life Without Plastic. The inside of the adorable dish set it made of high-quality stainless steel. The exterior of the dish set is made of a long-lasting, secure acrylonitrile styrene plastic. I love the adorable froggy design on it, and the plate has edges so no food will slide off the plate. Sophia just loves the 3 frogs on her plate, she calls them the “Mommy, Daddy, and Baby frog”. Too cute! When she eats her food, she says “one bite for mommy froggy, one bite for daddy froggy, and one bite for baby froggy “. We all start to laugh, and best of all she eats all of her food. LOL. Upon arrival of this set you will notice that it comes in an eco-friendly designer box and is very well packaged. This would definitely make a lovely addition to your Christmas list. The Green Frog 3-piece Dish set is available at Life Without Plastic and valued at $27.95.

Win: One lucky reader will win a Green Frog 3-piece set of their own.

I learned from the Life Withouts Plastics site that plastics degrades, absorbs and releases chemicals in the ocean and kills ocean wildlife. Very scary stuff when you think about the seafood we eat that comes in contact with these contaminents.

We realize that plastic is not going to disappear any time soon. We recognize the benefits of plastic and the important roles it plays in society.

I learned that Phthalates are known to disrupt the endocrine system, have been linked to numerous health conditions including cancers, and some have been banned in Europe and the U.S. for use in certain products, such as toys. As such, additives are a key contributor to the negative health and environmental effects associated with plastics.

Makes me scared to think what I actually have in my home that is harming my kids.
