Holiday Gift Guide: Safe Eyes 6 Software

November 13, 2010

As we all know, the Internet is a vast sea of entertainment and information. With a few clicks you can find out about almost anything. Sometimes though, you find out a little too much, that you don’t want to see and definitely don’t want your children to see. I have even had problems looking up a cartoon on YouTube for my little one to watch, only to find out someone put some explicit rap song to a Cinderella video. Yes, as wonderful as the internet is, you still have to take precautions with your little ones in this digital age, because the world is literally at your fingertips.

This is where Safe Eyes comes in. Safe Eyes lets you block objectionable content, from such things as music, videos, websites, games and more. It lets you set time limits for internet activity, block social networks, record profane language or suggestive posts and keep your little ones safe from predators. The program has 35 categories for blocking websites. It has a safe-search function on search engines and more. Safe Eyes is Mac/PC compatible and has won many awards. In this digital information age, it is great to have another set of eyes protecting my little one.

Sincerely,

My opinions are my honest, and thoughtful views and were not influenced by any source. I was not compensated monetarily for this review. Thank you to Sponsor/PR Agency for providing a complimentary sample for the review.

Sometimes I think I need a program like this to set time limits on my Internet access because I’m a workaholic…haha!

I agree with your other readers! This would be good for me… I tend to spend WAY too much time on the computer. I am glad they have things like this to ease my mind when Leah is older.

I love safe eyes! If my girls were a little older I would definitely want this and when they are I would feel better knowing that they are protected!
