Healthy Snacks: Harvest Snaps

September 7, 2013

I really love snacks that are not only healthy, but also taste great. That is why it is so important to me to make healthy decisions for both myself and  family.  My daughter is really a picky eater when it comes to eating vegetables, so I have to find ways to sneak them into her diet any way I can.

I was recently given the opportunity to review and try out some of these Healthy Snacks: Harvest Snaps.   The moment I saw the images on the packages, I knew that I would love to try them out.  They look really tasty just by looking at the package, LOL. Since school is back in session packing lunches and providing afternoon snacks is a daily routine. These Harvest Snacks definitely make a great lunch snack or even an afternoon snack when she gets home.

Harvest Snaps are gluten free and with fresh clean flavors you will constantly want more.  Here is a little bit about the products : Our Snapea Crisps are made with all-natural peas – 70%* to be exact – while our Lentil Snaps come packed with 65% authentic lentils and their powerful combination of nutrients.  Sounds yummy right!

There are several flavors to choose  such as Snapea Crisps: Lightly Salted, Caesar, Black Pepper, Wasabi Ranch and then we have the Lentil Snaps: Tomato Basil.

The moment I tasted the black pepper flavor, I kept eating and eating and couldn’t put the bag down.  I did not even realize that it was gone until I looked in the bag and it was empty.  They were so tasty!  One little piece in your mouth will spread the flavor throughout your mouth quickly.  My daughter liked them so much, that she kept on asking for more. My husband took the Tomato Basil Lentil Snaps to work for a snack, and he came home saying they were awesome.  That is what I call making healthy decisions for my family. We have some new favorite snacks around our house.

If you like what you have read and you would like to try out some for yourself, you can find them at various locations such as Target, Walmart, Whole Foods, Costco or go to the Harvest Snaps website and find a location near you and make a healthy decision for you and your family. I promise you, that your family will definitely love these snacks.

You can visit Harvest Snaps website and also connect with them via facebook and twitter.

Until next time!

Sincerely,
