Holiday Gift Guide: Anzard Book

November 23, 2015

I love reading books and my children love it as well.  I believe that giving a child a book to read even it is for 15 minutes a day that will definitely help them with their fluency and reading skills.  Now, this book Anzard is intended for those young curious readers between the ages of 8 and 12 and believe me, I have one right in my house.  She loves to read every single day.  Quite frequently she asks us to go to Barnes and Noble to get her some books. How can we refuse, because reading is a great lifetime skill that we as parents need to nurture in our children whenever we can.

Anzard by Christopher Conroy is a magical tale about a 10-year-old boy who learns – with the help of an angelic creature — to follow his instincts, overcome his fears, and pursue his imagination. He embarks on an amazing adventure that takes place galaxies away from Earth, battling the elements of a world filled with both good and evil.  As a result, the boy is able to save his parents from a plane crash – and discovers the power we have in each of us to do amazing things

When I first saw the cover for  Anzard, by Christopher Conroy, I was immediately intrigued and curious at the same time. It is a children’s adventure, fantasy story which takes young readers to a magical, mystical world of Spiritainia.  It is a world full of witches, mythical creatures (Anzards) and animals who can talk. It sounds exciting right!  The book tells a story about a boy named Justin Cavell in which a tragic event occurs when his parents were caught in very bad storm while flying in their airplane.  Worried, curious and afraid Justin thinks something very bad must have happened to his parents. Like every child when something scary happens to them they pray and  so does Justin who preys for his parents safe return. His prayers happened to be overheard by Poofy.  This mythical creatures takes Justin on an adventurous and magical journey which teaches him the meaning of how important it is in believing, and trusting in oneself to just go with your gut feeling.  This book is great learning tool for young readers because it teaches them never to stop believing in yourself and to do what your heart desires.  It tells a good story and I know that when my daughter reads this book, she will end up making good judgements and learn the importance of believing, trusting her inner-self and to never give up.

I would definitely recommend Anzard book as a great gift idea for a Christmas Gift!  it is available at amazon and visit Anzard website as well for more information.

Happy reading and Happy Holidays!

Interesting book…definitely worth reading. Now and days they really do make the books so interesting and your right, kids tend to look at the cover first to get curious what’s in the inside of the book. Great review!
