What’s For Dinner?

September 10, 2018

My husband went to the store, and brought home a beef Sirloin Tip Roast and  it looked so good. All I could think of was how will I prepare this baby.

IMG_7542As I was flipping through various recipes and trying to find some of my already stocked seasonings, I noticed several recipes didn’t have the seasonings I had on hand, so I moved to the next recipe.  After searching for a while, I eventually decided to make it my own with what spices I already had and see what will happen.

Directions:

I placed the sirloin tip roast in the refrigerator for a day ahead of time. The next day I set the sirloin tip roast aside to get to room temperature. In the mean time I went off to fold some clothes.  Yes, when you’re a mommy, you are always multi tasking.

IMG_7543After the clothes were done, I went back and rinsed off the sirloin thoroughly and reached for a paper towel to pat it dry. I set the oven at 325 degrees. While the oven was preheating I sprinkled and rubbed some salt and pepper over the entire roast.  Next, I took a pan and poured in some coconut oil and heated it up. When the pan was hot enough I gently placed the roast in the  pan and let it sear on all sides until I saw a nice brown color.

IMG_7544Then I placed the roast in another oven pan.  I made small cuts in the roast and place several pieces of cut garlic cloves inside, and added the rest of the seasonings (minced onions, garlic powder, worcestershire sauce, smokehouse seasoning, and Brazilian Steakhouse).

IMG_7545Next I covered it with aluminum foil  placed the roast in the oven for approximately 2 and half hours.

IMG_7551-1I hope you all enjoy this recipe, until next time.  Happy eating!

Enjoy!

Sincerely,
