How to Wear Hunter Boots

April 26, 2019

April Showers, not only bring May flowers, but Hunter Wellies/Boots too. These rain boots have transcended into a fashion trend and I LIKE it. It has been raining on and off here in Houston all year, especially now that we are in April. Ever since Hurricane Harvey, I am well prepared for wet weather, but I must have some adorable rain wear, or in my case almost everyday wear. So, having Hunter Boots on hand will have me still looking stylish.

What I like the most about Hunter Boots is that they are season-less. You don’t necessarily have to wear them when it’s raining or snowing, you can wear them pretty much all the time. Outside from them being functional and weatherproof, they are padded plus extremely comfortable. I put these babies on almost everyday while walking the dogs, gardening, during my kids soccer practice, picking up my son from school, and even to the grocery store. If you prefer extra padding, you can always wear some socks for additional comfort.  These boots are definitely my on the go boots rain or shine!

I’ve owned several pairs and styles over the years. I posted about the red Hunter Boots here and you can see them on my instagram photos as well. Hunter Boots come in a full range of sizes.  My shoes size is a 8. Since I tend to wear socks with mine, I go a size up and get a 9. There are two types of styles, tall and short, plus they come in a variety of colors. I am wearing the original tall gloss rain boots: vivid blue Hunter Boots. The boots are fully waterproof, with polyester lining and rubber outsole.

Lastly, I paired the boots with a basic striped tee and some high-wasted jeans. This is my everyday on-the-go style. If you’re looking for something sleeker, there is also the original refined boots. I did a post on those too. They are definitely chic and fit perfectly around my legs.   As I said before, these Hunter Boots are fun, stylish, trendy, comfy and season-less. You can wear them all year around if you want, and they will still look fabulous!
