My husband reads to my daughter every night to put her and sometimes him to sleep. She can’t get enough books, because she loves the stories so much. So, I know she and everyone else would like the book, Giants in the Land Book Three: The Cavern of Promise, by Clark Burbridge.
Book three is in a world where giants and common folks have lived together for centuries. Thomas, a Forest Ward, and his giant friend have disappeared. Trapped by the evil king Westland, Thomas must go all out for his survival. With a triple quest of adventure the reader will see if Thomas can be saved, the redemption of lost people, and if the land can be saved from destruction. A mythical cavern at the edge of the world holds promise. So, Journey with Thomas and his friends as they risk it all.
I like this book because not only is it a wonderful story but, it helps kids to become Giants themselves in how they live. Not to be giant bullies, but to be giant in the way they live to face life’s sudden changes and difficulties, with weapons of faith and hope.
