As most of us know and see, tablets and smartphones are a part of our lives. These fascinating devices have brought learning and interaction with computers into a whole new level. However, I feel reading a book and flipping pages is an amazing experience to, as the readers fingers wait with anticipation to turn the next page to see what will happen. That is why I love these new Incredebooks: Disney Imagicademy “Connected Storybooks.”
You may be asking, what are connected storybooks? Well these books bring traditional story books to 3D life using your tablet or smartphone. In the Incredebook, Olaf Wants a Birthday, the reader can take a photo with Olaf, change and rotate viewpoints, and explore four digital experiences that reinforce early language skills. Plus, you can tap objects that move and say funny rhymes, and play rhyming games too. Sounds great! Since it is hard to get kids off the devices and that you want them to read these books are the perfect solution. Here is a video of it in action.
I am telling you I really like these books. They enhance learning and connect the reader to stories in a brand new exciting way. They are available at Target retails stores and Target.com and retails $14.99.
Visit the Incredebooks website for amazing books like Mickey and Donald’s Rhyme Time, starring characters from Disney’s Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and more.
